Producer Wizart Animation has green-lit _The Snow Queen 3_ with a budget of $15 million. An international rollout is slated for 2016. Hollywood voice talent is due to be announced in the fall at AFM, producer Yuri Moskvin said. The voice cast for [_Snow Queen 2_](http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/afm-russias-snow-queen-2-748172 "undefined")included Sean Bean (_The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones_) as General Arrog, Sharlto Copley (_Maleficent_, _District 9_, _Elysium_) as troll Orm, [Bella Thorne](http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/bella-thorne-is-neutrogenas-new-682444 "undefined") (_Amityville: The Awakening_) as Gerda and Isabelle Fuhrman (_The Hunger Games_) as Alfida. The decision to produce a third movie comes after the success of the first two feature-length cartoons in the franchise by the Moscow- and Voronezh-based animation studio. _The Snow Queen_and _Snow Queen 2_ have reached combined box-office revenue of $25 million, with more international releases due for both films this year. Entertainment One has picked up U.S. and Canadian rights (English- and French-speaking) to the 3D _Snow Queen 2_, with winter 2015 releases scheduled. “With each new project we are trying to go to a whole new level,” Moskvin said. “We are increasing the level of production and marketing, and bringing famous scriptwriters and cast on board.” He added that the original soundtrack for the latest installment of the franchise would be localized for some territories.
