Idina Menzel belted out one of the biggest songs of 2014. Now, here’s her great rendition – with some unlikely help – of a classic hit from 1987.
The actress and singer, 43, visited The Late Late Show on Thursday night and joined James Corden for a surprise performance of “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” – that’s right, the classic Bill Medley/Jennifer Warnes duet made famous in Dirty Dancing.
And they did some of that, too, though not quite to the sultry and acrobatic level of Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.
Check it out above, as Menzel delivers a predictably awesome performance. Oh, and who knew James Corden could sing like that?
