Joe_) to write the script. Based on the popular ’80s series of the same, _Robotech_ will focus on society’s use of robot technology to fend off an alien invasion. The series was released in the U.S. by Harmony Gold USA in association with Tatsunoko Production Co., Ltd. and adapted from three original Japanese television series. Wan co-created both the _Saw_ and _Insidious_ franchises and directed the sleeper hit _The Conjuring_. He is currently producing _Insidious 3_ and will direct _The Conjuring 2_ this fall.
