Country star Tim McGraw and TIME 100 honoree kicked off the TIME 100 with a medley of songs, including “Shotgun Rider” and “Live Like We Were Dying.” The singer, who kicks off a tour this June, was honored on the TIME 100 list by Jon Meacham, who wrote that “he moves between genres with the same down-to-earth grace that’s always on display at the Nashville high school football games he never misses.”
McGraw attended the gala with his wife Faith Hill and their children. Check out McGraw’s performance above.
