Witness Scenes From the Kenya University Attack

At least 147 people were killed, and 79 others wounded, on Thursday after masked al-Shabaab militants stormed a dormitory complex on the Garissa University College campus. More than 500 students were rescued, according to the Kenya National Disaster Operation Centre. “If you were a Christian,” one student recalled to the Associated Press, “you were shot on the spot.”
