But his new colleague, _Daily Show_ correspondent Aasif Mandvi, [says the uproar](http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/aasif-mandvi-trevor-noah-daily-785721 "undefined") is “much ado about nothing.” “I trust Jon Stewart,” Mandvi told _The Hollywood Reporter_. “Jon seems to want him to take over, so I trust that. I think the only way we’re gonna know is once he does the job.” He [also has some advice](http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/daily-show-trevor-noah-should-785744 "undefined") for the new host: Take a hint from Jon Stewart and stay off social media.
