One Direction are in the middle of a world tour, but they’ll have to continue on down one well-coiffed head of hair. The band’s publicist, Simon Jones of Hackford PR, tweeted out that Zayn Malik—who has missed tour dates and appearances on numerous occasions, most recently leaving their Perth, Australia performance early due to illness and memorably having to miss their last Today show appearance because of a tummy bug—would be heading home to recuperate from “stress.”
The band’s label rep did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
