Singer-songwriter “Weird Al” Yankovic recently performed an especially moving rendition of “Yoda” — his spoof of “Lola” by The Kinks — with Jodi DiPiazza, a 13-year-old musician with autism, and the Actionplay chorus, also singers who have autism, at Night of Too Many Stars, a variety show broadcasted on Comedy Central Sunday night. The event raises money to fund programs and services for people with autism through the non-profit New York Collaborates for Autism.
DiPiazza, a student at the Mannes College The New School for Music in New York City, performed “Firework” with Katy Perry at the 2012 event.
