Though it wasn’t too long ago that things were not going well for the Aaron Sorkin-written Steve Jobs, the movie is now filming, and today Universal set a release date.

The film will be released on October 9, 2015, indicating that it will be seen as a potential awards contender next year. Danny Boyle, who won an Oscar for directing Best Picture winner Slumdog Millionaire, helms the film, which stars Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen.

Last week, the movie finalized its cast, and now photos from the set have revealed what Fassbender will look like as the titular Apple founder.
