Following the Patriots’ Super Bowl win, a special post-game episode of The Tonight Show featured a star-studded version of the quintessential victory song “We Are The Champions.”
The video starts off with Jimmy Fallon singing the opening lines of the Queen classic, with Tonight Show house band The Roots providing the rhythm. The first singer to join is Carrie Underwood, followed by other superstars like Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, Blake Shelton, Usher, Meghan Trainor, One Direction and Christina Aguilera.
Despite the varied genres of these stars, they all blend together quite nicely. Christina Aguilera kind of steals the show at the end, overpowering everyone with her dramatic vocals. This does not seem to surprise anyone.
