The comedian, who hosted the Comedy Central Roast of the late Rivers in 2009, will be taking over the E Network’s popular show _Fashion Police_ on Monday, the morning after the Golden Globes. Griffin has promised that her version of the red carpet after-show will be just as biting as Rivers’, which was often critiqued for stepping over the line with cracks about age, weight or worse. Does Griffin have a sharp enough tongue to lampoon the stars as well as Rivers did? Based on her standup, absolutely. Griffin has had years of practice making fun of celebrities’ clothing, attitude and even drug problems.
