Even mega star Angelina Jolie isn’t immune to getting chicken pox!
The actress, 39, recorded a video message that was posted on YouTube Friday explaining that she’s come down with the itchy viral infection and will not be able to attend upcoming press events for Unbroken, which she directed.
“I just wanted to be clear and honest about why I will be missing the Unbroken events in the next few days, which is that I found out last night that I have chicken pox,” says Jolie, who appears to have some of the tell-tale blisters on her chest and neck. “I will be home, itching and missing everyone, and I can’t believe it because this film means so much to me.”
The mother of six continues to express her disbelief in the 39-second clip. “I just can’t believe it!” she says. “But such is life … I send everyone my love and hope everything goes well.”
