Every Thursday, Instagram streams are filled with pictures of your best friend’s worst childhood fashion choices. #ThrowbackThursday — often shortened to #TBT to save #CharacterSpace — is a nostalgia-driven social media trend that has been adopted by everyone from the Kardashians to your Dad to [President Obama](https://twitter.com/BarackObama/status/484722240684965888).

But who had the most popular #TBT of 2014? Instagram scoured its photo database and found that the #TBT with the most likes came from none other than Justin Bieber.

In fact, when looking at the most popular photos associated with the throwback hashtags, Bieber’s account had the five most liked pictures out of all of [Instagram’s 300 million active monthly users.](http://time.com/3628134/instagram-twitter/)

[00:00] [ MUSIC ] So, when I'm in these spaces, they're usually
[00:03] spaces that are bustling with crowds. And all of sudden
[00:06] you're in there with no people. [ MUSIC ]
[00:11] I always end up whispering. It just feels like this kind
[00:15] of elevated moment. Moment where you're just like, oh my,
[00:18] you know, I'm surrounded by all this incredible stuff that
[00:21] people come in crowds to see, and this small group of
[00:23] people gets to experience it and share it in a way that is
[00:26] normally not possible. We have a group of influential
[00:31] talented Instagram photographers and we're gonna get a
[00:34] really special behind the scenes look at, at the museum.
[00:36] [ MUSIC ] We're gonna see all these collections
[00:40] that are completely out of the public eye. And I'm excited to
[00:43] be able to share those with the public. We actually have a
[00:46] budget this time, so we can pay the photographers. The
[00:47] photographers are actually gonna be providing work to the,
[00:51] to the natural history museum for their own feed. Then
[00:54] we're gonna start driving the followers that we have, we're
[00:57] gonna start driving towards that.

[01:05] I'm really excited about exploring the planetarium, with no
[01:09] people around it, because it's just such an incredible
[01:11] architectural piece, and I think that they light will be great,
[01:17] and I'm just really excited to see that part. I really also am
[01:19] excited for the room with the giant blue whale replica. Just
[01:22] because I think there's so much potential in there. I mean,
[01:26] it's such a visually incredible, incredible space. The
[01:31] cool thing about instagram is it's like a portfolio that people
[01:34] can interact with. It's an incredible feedback loop. So if I
[01:37] have an idea I can instantly create it, put it out into the
[01:40] world and within five minutes I know if it's well received or
[01:43] not. Or not, and that's, that's an incredibly powerful tool for
[01:46] learning. Within this community there's this incredible
[01:48] creative cross pollination going on and it's great to have
[01:52] that because that's what, you know, that's what makes
[01:54] people grow, and learn, and be better artists. Is, is the ability
[01:58] to share, collaborate, and learn from each other. Other.
