Billy Eichner will star in Amy Poehler’s new comedy series for Hulu! The company [announced](http://blog.hulu.com/2014/11/18/hulu-orders-amy-poehlers-difficult-people-starring-julie-klausner-and-billy-eichner/ "undefined") Tuesday a series called _Difficult People_, which will star Eichner and comedic writer and performer Julie Klausner, with whom he collaborates on _Billy on the Street_ — a show that largely involves shouting pop culture trivia to people on the street. In case you’re not familiar with the very funny Klausner yet, here’s her appearance as “the cat whisperer” in [this Funny or Die short](http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/e70133c43f/the-cat-whisperer-ep-1 "undefined"). “This hilarious series follows Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner as best friends and struggling comedians in New York City who can’t figure out why they aren’t likable,” Hulu Head of Originals Beatrice Springborn wrote on the company blog. “Klausner wrote the pilot and will also serve as an executive producer for the series alongside Amy Poehler (_Parks and Recreation_) and Dave Becky (_Louie_).” Hulu is working in collaboration with Universal Cable Productions. Shooting will begin early in 2015.
