Is there anything more cathartic than singing along to an old Bob Dylan tune? If this new clip from the upcoming film St. Vincent is to believed, then no, there is not. It features Bill Murray, who plays the titular character — described as a “retired curmudgeon with a penchant for alcohol and gambling” — jamming out to “Shelter from the Storm” from Dylan’s 1975 album Blood on the Tracks.
Murray offers a kind of sing-mumble-growl hybrid as he harmonizes with the song blaring through his headphones. He does all of this while taking drags of a cigarette, watering a plant and rocking some camo shorts. It’s a definite change of pace from Murray’s recent exploits, which include dancing to “Turn Down for What” at a house party and crashing an engagement photo shoot. St. Vincent hits theaters Oct. 10.
