The _Game of Thrones_ star has been tapped to star in the upcoming crime thriller _The Thicket_, based on Joe R. Lansdale’s 2013 novel. [_Variety_ reports](http://variety.com/2014/film/news/peter-dinklage-thicket-gianni-nunnari-1201310818/ "undefined") that Dinklage will play a “a crafty bounty hunter named Shorty,” who teams up with a couple of misfits to help a young man rescue his kidnapped sister from a violent and sadistic gang. The story takes place in East Texas and the group follows the gang into a feral, heavily forested area known as The Big Thicket.
