He will star alongside Morgan Freeman, who will play Ildarin, the _Reporter_ says. Director Timur Bekmambetov, known for his vampire franchise _Night Watch_ and _Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter_ will take on the challenge of remaking the 1959 classic, which won 11 Oscars, including Best Picture.
