What do you have to do to land the role of the Mother of Dragons on Game of Thrones? Dance some awkward dances, apparently.
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and talked about her Game of Thrones audition, during which the show’s co-creator David Benioff joked that she should do a dance.
And Clarke actually did—starting with the Funky Chicken, then transitioning into the Robot.
Luckily for the star, her funky dance moves paid off. Clarke has been a major part of the past three seasons of the show, with season 4 premiering on Sunday, April 6.
