WATCH: Truck Flies Off Highway, Nearly Hits a Cop

While he was writing up an accident report, this Iowa state trooper almost became subject of another one.

In dashboard cam video released by the Johnson County Sheriff’s office, an airborne truck does not slow down when approaching the crash scene, flies off the road into a ditch, hits the stopped car and grazes the trooper and his deputies.

Moments after the near-miss, one of the cops has the wherewithal to say — in a deadpan way — “I’m going to go check on that guy.”

The driver suffered a minor cut on his forehead, and the state trooper went to the hospital with minor injuries.
