The series, which will not star Batman, centers around Commissioner Gordon as a young detective in Gotham City, the gritty, crime-infested metropolis he left some unspecified amount of time in the past. The trailer, titled “The God. The Evil. The Beginning.” shows Gordon, who has just returned to Gotham, walking toward a crime scene.
