[O’Donnell](http://content.time.com/time/specials/2007/time100/article/0,28804,1595326%5F1595332%5F1616693,00.html "undefined"), an often provocative television personality whose own talk show ended in 2002, was previously a panelist on _The View_ but left in 2007 after only one season. ABC said O’Donnell will co-host _The View_ with current moderator Whoopi Goldberg.
