An Illinois woman is well on her way to making Jeopardy! history after winning her 19th consecutive game Thursday. Julia Collins’ latest win puts her in second place for the most consecutive wins, and she’s already won more money than any other female contestant.
“Its been a lot of fun, and I feel like I’ve been very lucky … to be on the show as long as I have,” Collins said in a CNN Interview.
Collins has even reportedly quit her business consultant job so she can continue playing Jeopardy!. She has a long way to go, however, if she wants first place for the most consecutive wins: Currently, Ken Jennings holds the first place spot with 74 straight victories.
