May 22, 2014 1:53 PM CUT _Rocky_, the classic story of a long-odds boxer, only recently became a musical — but that doesn’t mean the original film didn’t have any music. Two songs —”Eye of the Tiger” and “Gonna Fly Now (Theme From Rocky)”—will forever be associated with training montages; the former from _Rocky III_ and the latter from the first in the franchise. So it’s no surprise that the musical-theater take on _Rocky_, which opened in New York City earlier this year to [strong reviews](http://time.com/24950/review-rocky-musical-lands-a-solid-hook-on-broadway/ "undefined"), uses both of those songs.
