Jason Sudeikis Returns as Awful American Soccer Coach Ted Lasso

And he's as ignorant as ever

Saturday Night Live alum Jason Sudeikis has reprised a character who we first met last summer: Ted Lasso, the incompetent American soccer coach hired to manage Tottenham Hotspur.

Well, Lasso was fired because he was terrible and didn’t understand the rules of British football at all. But because the Premier League is returning to NBC this month, the network decided to revive the hilariously ignorant, disrespectful, mustachioed character.

This time, though, he’s coaching a youth soccer team and showing off his newfound love of English culture. In fact, he’s even taken a cue from cities with places like Chinatown and Little Italy and turned his entire apartment into Teeny-Tiny England.

Watch President Obama “Sing” Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy”

It's not real, but it's still spectacular

President Obama is so fancy, but he already knows, he’s in the fast lane from L.A. to Tokyo and he sings all about it in this “cover” of Iggy Azalea’s hit, “Fancy.”

The YouTube Channel BarackDubs has taken snippets from the President’s speeches and weaved them together into a tapestry that mirrors Iggy Azalea’s flow. In the past, the viral video stars have made Obama look like he’s singing hits likes Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA” and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.”

It’s a fun clip, but it lacks the of sly-eyed elan of their previous venture, Bill Clinton singing “Blurred Lines.”

This Little Piggy Can Surf

SURFBORT

The latest surfing animal to go viral is Kama, an adorable pig who hangs ten better than most people.

Kama developed his skills on the surfboard after the orphaned piglet was adopted by a human family. When Kai Holt saw the baby pig fall into the family’s swimming pool and immediately start swimming like a porcine Michael Phelps, he realized the pig was a water fanatic. After Kama got acclimated to swimming pools, Holt, an avid surfer, decided to test the waters, literally, and take Kama out to catch some waves at one of Oahu’s famed beaches. As Holt says in the video, if the pig can swim, he can definitely surf. Sure enough, the pig was a natural, digging his hooves into the front of Holt’s board and soon Kama and Holt were out riding the waves together with Kama standing tall while Holt paddles.

Thanks to GoPro cameras strapped to the board and Kama’s head, the entire internet can get a pig’s eye view as he heads out on a surfing safari.

Here’s What Happens When Pranksters Turn the NYC Subway Into a Spa

Improv Everywhere's latest prank

Ask any New Yorker and they’ll tell you: While summer in the city has some perks (see the Lovin’ Spoonful for verification), commuting on the subway in the summer is miserable. As the temperature rises, even the shortest subway trip can turn a rider into a sweaty hot mess as the heat turns stations into saunas.

For their latest subway prank, Improv Everywhere have taken something that every New York City commuter knows and taken it to its next logical step. They transformed the 34th Street subway stop into an actual sauna, complete with fresh towels, relaxing music, ice water steeped with lemon slices and hot stone massages. After all, if the subway station is a sauna, you may as well get a facial.

As with most of the Improv Everywhere pranks, the reactions of the passersby are the best part with jaded commuters smirking and shrugging while tourists gawk at the crazy city they are visiting.

Watch Cows Come to Hear Farmer’s Moo-ving Rendition of Lorde’s “Royals” on the Trombone

Move over, Old MacDonald

Sorry Old MacDonald, but cows these days have no interest in your E-I-E-I-O schtick. Luckily, Derek Klingenberg is a modern farmer and farm-centric musical parody artist who has a YouTube channel and some unique ideas for bringing his cows home for the night.

In this video, Klingenberg set up his chair and video camera, whipped out his trombone and started to sweetly serenade his herd with a cover of Lorde’s hit “Royals.” As the dulcet strains of his trombone take on the chart-topping tune echoed across the Kansas plains, the cows came home to hear the concert.

It’s a sweet scene of bovine fandom. We can only hope they don’t stampede when the find out that Lorde is writing a new track for the Mockingjay soundtrack.

This Dog’s Brakes May Need Checking [VIDEO]

Hey dog, that's weird

Stella the Yellow Lab has no need for convention.

Sure, most dogs slow down before coming to a complete stop, but Stella isn’t most dogs. Instead of laying off the gas to slow her roll, Stella does the canine equivalent of pulling the car keys out of the ignition — she simply stops mid-stride and belly flops on the ground, legs splayed out behind her like a Thanksgiving turkey.

It’s an adorably weird quirk that was uploaded to YouTube, so the whole internet could head-scratch over the cute canine oddity. The uploader assures concerned viewers that Stella is completely healthy and she just uses this unique braking technique “to cool down on the grass after she’s been fetching and playing.” Keep on being you, Stella.

Scaredy Cat So Freaked By The Outdoors He Tries To Hide In Stranger’s Bag [VIDEO]

It's the great indoors for this cat

They call it the great outdoors, but when you’re a house cat who has never stepped foot outside before, it may not seem so great.

Take the cat in this video making the rounds on the web this morning. The cat’s owner thought it would be nice to take the pet for a walk in the fresh air. The owner hooked his furry friend up to a leash and took him outside for the first time ever. Instead of being overjoyed at his first foray into the open, the cat is overwhelmed to the point of agoraphobic. His first instinct appears to be to impersonate an ostrich, burying his head, not in the sand, but in a passing stranger’s handbag.

Some cats are just meant to be avid indoorsmen.
