MCPHS University

Boston, MAwww.mcphs.edu
The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) is a private college that offers approximately 4,000 undergrads about 50 health care programs. It's natural that the most popular majors at MCPHS are in pharmacy and nursing, since the school is focused on medicine. The college admits the vast majority of applicants. As a private college, its tuition is high, but the school awards scholarships to many of its incoming freshmen. The high net cost apparently pays off: After 10 years, typical MCPHS grads earn six-figure salaries, more than triple the average salary of the average recent college graduate nationwide, according to the federal College Scorecard. The school's three campuses -- in Boston, Worcester, Massachusetts, and Manchester, New Hampshire -- and its online course options do fragment the student body. But degree seekers can take advantage of about 70 student organizations on the Boston campus, many of them dedicated to professional concerns or community service.
