Michael Wolff’s controversial new book on the inner workings of the Trump administration is already selling out everywhere.

Fire and Fury: Inside the White House was released Thursday — four days ahead of schedule — and is already a bestseller despite President Donald Trump’s attorney sending the publisher a cease-and-desist letter.

The tell-all book quickly shot up to the No. 1 spot on Amazon and almost immediately was backordered there and at other major booksellers including Barnes & Noble. While the book won’t be back in stock on Amazon for another two to four weeks, people can still order the Kindle and audio editions, which were No. 2 and No. 3 on Amazon’s best-seller list.

Kramerbooks, a bookstore in Washington, D.C., reportedly sold out of the book just 20 minutes after it went on sale, according to a tweet from BuzzFeed reporter Chris Geidner.

The D.C.-based bookstore tweeted it would begin selling Wolff’s controversial book at midnight on Thursday and locals showed up to buy it despite the late hour.

The White House has largely dismissed the book’s claims, with White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders calling the book “trashy tabloid fiction exposes their sad desperate attempts at relevancy” at a press conference on Wednesday.

While excerpts released prior to the book’s publication paint Trump and his inner-circle in an unflattering light, there are some questions about the truth behind some of the anecdotes included in Fire and Fury.

But Wolff’s publisher, Henry Holt and Company, is standing by the book, saying in a statement Thursday that it is “an extraordinary contribution to our national discourse.”

Wolff went on the Today show Friday morning and thanked Trump for helping promote the book by trying to prevent it from being published.

“Where do I send the chocolates?” he joked.
