These New Postage Stamps Let You Channel Your Inner Disney Villain

Jul 15, 2017

A new line of stamps will feature villains from Disney movies.

The reverse side also includes quotes from each character.

The stamps will be dedicated at 1:30 p.m. E.T. Saturday during D23 Expo 2017, a three-day Disney fan convention at the Anaheim Convention Center, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

The stamps, which can be bought from the USPS for the same 49 cents as any other Forever stamp, include Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, Honest John from Pinocchio, Cruella De Vil from One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Captain Hook from Peter Pan, the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Lady Tremaine from Cinderella, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, the Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, and Scar from The Lion King.

"The Postal Service is highlighting the Disney Villains and the pioneering spirit of the Ink and Paint Department that brought many of these characters to life," Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan said in a statement to the Daily News.
