Sunitha Krishnan

Krishnan co-founded Prajwala, the world’s largest civil society organization devoted to eradicating sex trafficking and sex crimes. It has supported over 18,500 women and children reintegrate into society. She is one of three humanitarians nominated for the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity, which is awarded annually in Yerevan, Armenia, on behalf of the survivors of the Armenian Genocide and in gratitude to their saviors.
