In anticipation of Stephen Colbert’s move to CBS, Comedy Central announced Friday that _The Daily Show_ correspondent Larry Wilmore will fill the highly-coveted post-Jon Stewart slot as host of _The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore_. Wilmore, 52, is currently “Senior Black Correspondent” on “The Best F\*&#ing News Team Ever!.” Before joining Stewart’s cast in 2006, Wilmore wrote for _In Living Color_, _The Fresh Prince of Bel Air_ and _The Jamie Foxx Show_, among others. He follows stars Stephen Colbert, John Oliver and Steve Carell in rising from the ranks of Jon Stewart’s long-running and highly popular spoof news show. Wilmore’s _Minority Report_, slated to begin in January 2015, will provide viewers with a comedic take on the news with “a perspective largely missing in the current late night landscape,” Comedy Central said.
