Judge James R. Brandlin formally sentenced Brown to a full year in jail, but gave him credit for time already served (including rehab), which reduced the maximum time he will spend behind bars for the violation to 131 days. Brown was charged with a misdemeanor last fall when he and his bodyguard got into a brawl outside a W Hotel in Washington D.C. His trial over the fight has been delayed until June, but he now admits to violating the terms of his probation during the incident, [USA _Today_](http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/people/2014/05/09/chris-brown-ordered-to-131-days-in-jail/8914249/) reports. The Grammy-winning musician was on probation for his 2009 felony conviction for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna.
