Sia Teases “Chandelier” Video: Premiere

1 minute read

Sia Furler has written more than her fair share of epic pop songs — but after crafting hits for Beyoncé, Rihanna, David Guetta and Britney Spears, the notoriously private Australian singer-songwriter is keeping a power ballad for herself. Sad-girl party anthem “Chandelier,” which premiered last month, is the first taste of her sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear, due this summer. TIME has a first look at the music video, set to arrive very soon.

Though Sia’s signature blunt bob make an appearance here, that’s not actually her in the clip — it’s Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler taking a tumble. She’s also not swinging from a chandelier, either, but then again, the song is about drowning your problems with alcohol; it was never really meant to be a YOLO manifesto about destroying fancy light fixtures.

Watch it up top.
