It’s hard not to bump news n stuff that I’m not trying to see rn. It’s very sad and we’re all tryin very hard to keep going. love u. and thank u for bein here always.” The singer had recently written about experiencing anxiety in a former Instagram stories post; both posts follow the news that Grande and Davidson had called off their engagement after four months together as a couple. ## Transcript All right guys, in case you missed it, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have called it quits. Say it ain't so. People confirms, the couple ended their engagement over the weekend. A source revealing it was way too much too soon. It's not shocking to anyone. Insiders say the breakup was a mutual decision, while another source tells TMZ the timing just wasn't right. The two plan to continue to still spend time together A Grande source explaining, it's not like they spilt and never plan on seeing each other again, they just decided to slow things down. The pop star was last seen supporting her ex as he filmed Saturday Night Live but there have been recent signs of trouble. Meanwhile, Ariana was expected to attend manager Scooter Braun's charity event on Saturday night. But failed to show up.
