I am joining forces with you and will match your $500,000 donation to ‘March For Our Lives,’” Oprah said on Twitter Tuesday evening. “These inspiring young people remind me of the Freedom Riders of the 60s who also said we’ve had ENOUGH and our voices will be heard.” > [](https://twitter.com/Oprah/status/966079086379507712) George and Amal Clooney announced earlier Tuesday that they are [donating $500,000](http://time.com/money/5166643/george-amal-clooney-march-for-our-lives-donation/ "undefined") in the name of their eight-month-old twins, Ella and Alexander. Taking a cue from the Clooneys, Hollywood director Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw also pledged $500,000, as did film studio executive Jeffrey Katzenberg and his wife Marilyn Katzenberg, [Deadline reported](http://deadline.com/2018/02/george-clooney-amal-clooney-donate-500000-march-for-our-lives-school-shootings-1202296098/ "undefined"). The rally they are all donating to, “March for Our Lives,” is scheduled for March 24th.
