Gomez, a card-carrying [Taylor Swift](http://time.com/5049659/taylor-swift-interview-person-of-the-year-2017/) squad member who recently released the single _Wolves_, has been buds with the _Reputation_ singer [for more than ten years](http://time.com/4819995/taylor-swift-selena-gomez-video/). During a chat with U.K. radio station [Kiss FM](https://planetradio.co.uk/kiss/entertainment/music/watch-selena-gomez-talks-new-single-instagram-plus/), she got down to the “how we met” story: “We actually dated the Jonas Brothers. It was hysterical,” she said. The details could make for a great song. “She was the girl with the big curly hair and the bracelets and the cowboy boots. I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked,” she said.
