Eminem took aim at President Donald Trump in a freestyle released during the BET Hip Hop Awards Tuesday night.

“It’s the calm before the storm right here,” the rapper begins in the four-minute clip, before a relentless cascade of criticism of the Trump administration. From the President’s Twitter feuds, to his spats with professional football players, to gun control, to what the rapper calls Trump’s “endorsement of clansmen,” Eminem hammered out a long list of complaints.

“We better give Obama props, cuz what we got in the White House now is a kamikaze that’ll probably cause a nuclear holocaust,” he said in the track to a rapt audience in a parking garage.

“Any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against,” he continued.

The new verse comes almost a year after his [first searing tune](http://time.com/4537074/eminem-on-trump-campaign-speech/) about Trump, then the Republican presidential candidate, an expletive-laden track titled “Campaign Trail.”

## Transcript

[00:00] [ MUSIC ] If the Trump administration were a movie, it
[00:03] would be rated R for language. Political ****. Many
[00:06] politicians curse, but only rarely in public. But Donald
[00:10] Trump has taken the practice to new heights, regularly
[00:13] using vulgar language in televised rallies. They're
[00:15] ripping the **** out of the sea. Most recently, he
[00:18] insulted professional athletes like Colin Kaepernick
[00:20] Who take a knee during the national anthem. Get that
[00:23] son of a **** off the field right now. Out! He's fired!
[00:28] Trump used to be even more profane, using a
[00:30] particularly vulgar term in 2006 to criticize then
[00:33] Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. I wish she was a
[00:36] [ BLEEP ]. I don't care if she's a lovely woman. One
[00:39] notorious speech in 2011 was laced with f- bombs
[00:42] about China and other subjects. You're not gonna raise
[00:44] that ****' price, you understand me. Listen you
[00:48] **** we're gonna tax you 25 %. Trump's use of
[00:51] profanity can be strategic. One study found that
[00:54] people thought legal testimony was more credible
[00:56] when it included swear words. And another study in
[00:59] Italy found that they had more favorable impressions
[01:01] of political candidates who cursed [ MUSIC ] Swearing
[01:04] plays into Trump's self- image as a truth teller,
[01:06] unafraid of being politically incorrect. Our country is
[01:08] going to hell. I don't give a damn if it doesn't work for
[01:10] me. He's also used it for emphasis to show that while
[01:13] everyone else promises to say fight terrorists, he'll be
[01:16] tougher. I would bomb the **** out of them.
[01:19] [ APPLAUSE ]. Trump also uses curse words to belittle
[01:22] and denigrate his opponents, as he did while running
[01:24] against Texas Senator Ted Cruz in the Republican
[01:27] primary. She just said a terrible thing. You know what
[01:30] she said? Shout it out. Cause, I don't want to.
[01:32] [ LAUGH ]. She said I never expect to hear
[01:36] that from you again. She said he's a ****. That's
[01:38] terrible. Terrible! Trump's public use of cursing has
[01:42] started to catch on, especially among Democrats. Not
[01:45] that damned wall! But there's a paradox.
[01:49] While Trump's public use of swear words has helped
[01:51] him, his most famous private cursing in the Access
[01:53] Hollywood video got him in trouble. He even issued a
[01:56] rare apology. I moved on her like a ****. I couldnt' get
[02:00] there and she was married. And when you're a star,
[02:02] they let you do it. You can do anything. Whatever you
[02:04] want. Grab by the [ BLEEP ]. Swearing works because
[02:07] it's the kind of thing you're not supposed to say in
[02:09] public. When Trump swears, he's signalling to his
[02:12] audience that he's talking the same way that he would
[02:13] in private, a classical rhetorical move from a populus
[02:16] who criticizes career politicians [ MUSIC ]
[02:29] But even for Trump, who's willing to say quite a lot of
[02:31] things publicly that other people wouldn't there are
[02:33] some conversations that aren't meant to be public.
[02:36] This was locker room talk. I'm not proud of it. I
[02:40] apologize to my family. I apologize to the American
[02:43] people. Certainly, I'm not proud of it, but this is locker
[02:46] room talk [ UNKNOWN ] [ MUSIC ]
