Luther Strange in Alabama’s Republican run-off election, following Strange’s [loss to conservative firebrand Roy Moore.](http://time.com/4958583/roy-moore-luther-strange-alabama-senate-run-off-donald-trump/) As of late Wednesday evening, Trump appeared to have erased a trio of tweets urging voters in Alabama to “finish the job — vote today for ‘Big Luther,'” according to an [archive of deleted tweets](https://projects.propublica.org/politwoops/user/POTUS) kept by ProPublica. Moore’s victory signifies a win for the [right-wing of the Republican Party](http://time.com/4956726/roy-moore-luther-strange-alabama-primary/), with [the outspoken former judge](http://time.com/4953360/alabama-senate-race-roy-moore-quotes/) gaining backing from former [Trump chief strategist and Breitbart head Steve Bannon](http://time.com/4953574/luther-strange-roy-moore-alabama-debate/?iid=sr-link4).
