Although showrunners [David Benioff and D.B. Weiss](http://time.com/4705628/game-of-thrones-most-expensive-death/ "undefined") had previously announced that [Ed Sheeran will make an appearance](http://time.com/4699202/ed-sheeran-game-of-thrones-season-7/ "undefined") in the seventh season of _Game of Thrones_, his character’s story arc has remained largely a mystery. But during a recent interview with [The Hits Radio](http://lifestyle.one/heat/entertainment/tv-movies/ed-sheeran-game-thrones/ "undefined"), the “Shape of You” singer revealed some details about his upcoming cameo.
