On Sunday, King [tweeted praise](http://time.com/4699168/steve-king-supports-dutch-politician/) for Wilders, saying he “understands that culture and demographics are our destine. We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.” Critics swiftly condemned the comment for promoting white nationalistic ideals. Certain groups of people will do more from a productive side than other groups of people will.” ## Transcript [00:00] I've said the same thing as far as ten years ago to the [00:03] German people and to any population of people that is [00:06] a declining population that isn't willing to have enough [00:09] babies to reproduce themselves and I've said to them, [00:12] you cannot rebuild your civilization with somebody [00:14] else's babies. You've got to keep your birth rate up [00:17] and that you need to teach your children your values [00:20] and in doing so, Then you can grow your population [00:23] and you can strengthen your culture. You can [00:25] strengthen your way of life. That's a clear message that [00:27] we need to get our birth rates up or we'll be entirely [00:30] transform within half a century or little more. These [00:33] people are either all equal or they are not in your view. [00:37] A Muslim American, an Italian American. [00:40] German- American, like you and your blood. Your [00:42] roots. They are either all equal, or they are not, in your [00:46] mind. What is the answer? I'd say [00:50] they're all created in the image of God. And they're [00:53] equal in His eyes. And if they're citizens of the United [00:56] States, they're equal in the eyes of the law. Individuals [00:59] will contribute differently, not equally to this civilization [01:02] and society, and certain groups of people will do more [01:06] from a productive side than other groups of people [01:08] will.
