In a new interview with [Yahoo Style](https://www.yahoo.com/style/chrissy-teigen-gets-real-about-her-body-my-weight-fluctuates-a-lot-152856466.html), Chrissy Teigen gives readers a peek into her home life with husband John Legend and baby Luna. The _Sports Illustrated_ swimsuit model and author is known for using Twitter to offer glimpses into the [secret world of celebrities](http://www.vogue.com/article/chrissy-teigen-tweets-celebrity-questions) so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that she likes to keep things real.

When not walking a red carpet or posing for a magazine, Teigen is a self-proclaimed homebody. “I don’t go anywhere. We have people over,” she says. Even prepping for events can be taxing. “Some people love getting glammed up. I hate it,” Teigen says. “If I could choose my day, it would be waking up and putting on a face mask and making my skin clean and spending time with my daughter.”

Also known for her love of food and kitchen skills, Teigen is currently working on a follow-up to her 2016 cookbook [_Cravings_](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012KJXFNW/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?%5Fencoding=UTF8&btkr=1). When asked how she “does it all,” Teigen admits she has a lot of help.. “My mom lives with us,” she said. “I have hair and makeup people. I’m not getting up and doing all this by myself.”

She adds: “I have the utmost respect for mothers and single mothers who go to work and come home and make dinner. I do all these things because I have help.”
