California Gov. Jerry Brown delivered his annual State of the State address on Tuesday, and vowed to defend immigrants, healthcare, the environment and infrastructure in the face of President Donald Trump’s administration.

Brown in his remarks said California would fight against measures Trump has promised to repeal, like the federal health care law, and criticized the new administration for asserting “alternative facts.”

“California is not turning back,” he said. “Not now, not ever.”
