Today was no exception, as the incisive writer behind Harry Potter took to social media to align herself with Meryl Streep following the [legend’s Golden Globes speech](http://time.com/4628072/golden-globes-2017-meryl-streep-donald-trump-speech/?iid=sr-link1 "undefined")—and to suggest that she seeks no compliments from president-elect Donald Trump. After winning the Cecille B. DeMille Award, Streep [used her screen time to lambast Trump ](http://time.com/4628147/read-meryl-streeps-powerful-golden-globes-speech/?iid=sr-link2 "undefined")and urge her fellow actors and members of the press to “hold power to account;” in response, [Trump called Streep “over-rated.”](http://time.com/4628378/golden-globes-2017-donald-trump-meryl-streep/?iid=sr-link3 "undefined") In Streep’s criticism, she singled out the president-elect’s mockery of _New York Times_ reporter Serge Kovaleski, who is disabled, during a 2015 rally, [something Trump later denied](http://time.com/4128128/donald-trump-kovaleski-journalist-disability/ "undefined"). As for Rowling?
