Burrell, who came under fire for referring to gay people as “perverted,” will no longer host her show [_Bridging the Gap with Kim Burrell_](http://www.tsu.edu/about/administration/university-advancement/communications/news-reel/gospel-legend-kim-burrell-to-debut-new-radio-show.php) on Texas Southern University’s KTSU-FM 90.9, the school said in a statement to the [Associated Press](http://abc13.com/religion/kim-burrell-under-fire-for-comments-about-gays/1682793/). The performer launched her radio show about five months ago.
