Blake Lively Shares Sweet Message After Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony

Blake Lively shared a touching Instagram post about her husband Ryan Reynolds’ recent achievement. Yesterday, Reynolds received a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and brought his whole family out for the first time — including their new baby whose name has not been released — to celebrate.

Lively’s Instagram shows the family standing atop Reynolds’ star surrounded by the red carpet. “Proud is a pitiful way to describe how I feel,” Lively wrote. “The permanence of your impact is undeniable…always has been, but now we have a fancy star to show for it,” the caption read.

During the star ceremony, Reynolds thanked Lively and his family for their continual support. He called Lively “the best thing that has ever happened to me…You make everything better. You make everything in my life better,” reports Us Weekly.

Reynolds also took to Instagram and called the ceremony “one of those ‘pinch me’ moments.” In typical Reynolds fashion, he added a comedic spin: “But not in the creepy way my Aunt used to do it.”

Reynolds’ recent film Deadpool stunned the Hollywood box office after it became one of the highest-grossing R-rated movies worldwide. A sequel has already been confirmed.
