Celebrity moms seem to be 2016’s most trendy troll target, and even the tiniest parenting decision can earn dozens of critical social media comments. Take it from Hilary Duff, whose mothering tactics have been called into question after she posted a picture of herself kissing her 4 year-old son, Luca.
The photo shows the mother and son kissing on the lips at Disneyland. Plenty of commenters called her “perverted” and “gross,” and people even took to Twitter to call out the Younger star. After seeing the negative feedback, Duff posted a follow-up, telling people to unfollow her if they didn’t like the picture.
Duff isn’t the first celebrity to run into this issue — earlier this year, Victoria Beckham posted a picture of herself kissing her daughter on her lips on her birthday, and was met with criticism too.
