Guns N’ Roses got political at their show in Mexico, inviting fans onstage to bash a Donald Trump piñata.
“Let’s bring up some people and give them a f—ing stick,” frontman Axl Rose said Wednesday during a performance at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes, Billboard reports. “Express yourselves however you feel.” A video of the incident was first released by TMZ.
“Hit him in the head!” Rose encouraged moments later as a few fans thwacked the arms and legs off the Trump effigy.
Many Mexicans have had concerns about Trump, given his harsh criticisms of the country and promises to build a border wall that Mexico would pay for, deport undocumented immigrants and reject trade deals. Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto found himself in hot water when he hosted Trump before the election, and the morning after the election, TIME’s Ioan Grillo in Mexico City woke up in a country he said was beset by “shock, sadness, anger and fear.”
