Let Wolf Blitzer Moderate Your Awkward Family Thanksgiving Conversations

Ellen DeGeneres put the CNN anchor in the middle of family political squabbles

Ellen DeGeneres just won the Presidential Medal of Freedom, but she after her latest sketch on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she may be in the running for another award, too—the Nobel Peace Prize.

On Tuesday, the talk show host shared her brilliant idea to ask professional moderators like Anderson Cooper, Megyn Kelly and Wolf Blitzer to moderate families’ conversations around the Thanksgiving dinner table.

DeGeneres dubbed the service the “Mobile Moderator” and it comes with the promise to keep any political tensions at bay during these post-election holidays. In the demonstration, CNN anchor Blitzer sits in with a family of Trump and Clinton supporters arguing about election fallout. “Let’s just get back to the original question,” chides Blitzer. “Can anyone pass the salt?”

It’s a genius way to bring civility back to the dinner table.
