Rather, they want to be the first to know—and share on social media—the last four words of the series, which have become the cornerstone of _Gilmore_ lore. The show’s creator, [Amy Sherman-Palladino](http://time.com/4553710/gilmore-girls-rory-boyfriends/ "undefined") has had these words simmering in her mind for a decade. She had a reputation for plotting out every single aspect of the show, including the final words spoken on the series—words that were never uttered. Controversially, she and the WB [parted ways](http://www.ew.com/article/2006/04/24/amy-sherman-palladino-leaving-gilmore "undefined") a year before _Gilmore Girls_ ended in 2007\.
