Massachusetts Train Tears Car in Half But No One Gets Hurt

1 minute read

Two women narrowly escaped a scary train crash on Wednesday night.

Officials said a car was trying to cross railroad tracks in Revere, Massachusetts, when it was hit by a passing commuter train, according to WPXI.

The train struck the vehicle with such force that the car split in half. Despite the severe damage to the car, no one was injured, the local news station reported.

Security footage of the train tracks showed the car’s driver and passenger, both women, leaving the scene shortly after the incident. Police told WPXI they have identified the driver and are trying to track down the two women to find out how the incident occurred.

There have been a number of other high profile train crashes this year, and each of those resulted in significant damage and injuries to passengers.
