A good magic trick operates on several levels, and [David Blaine’s](http://time.com/3710799/celebrities-paul-mccartney-valentines-day-saturday-night-live-snl/) latest is no exception.

On his new special _David Blaine: Beyond Magic_, he asked [Dave Chappelle](http://time.com/4567848/snl-dave-chapelle-video/) to draw a creature that could fit inside of a hand. Chappelle drew a frog. Blaine then picked up a wine glass filled with water and spit a small frog into it, instantly making Chappelle, [Drake](http://time.com/4548359/alex-trebek-jeopardy-drake-rap/), [Stephen Curry](http://time.com/4394033/steph-curry-surprises-warriors-campers/) and other onlookers freak out.

But he wasn’t done yet: he managed to spit two more little frogs into wine glasses, making his guests check first to see that there was nothing inside his mouth.
