Here’s Jon Stewart Wistfully Coloring a Thanksgiving Turkey Now That the Election’s Over

Samantha Bee shared a brief moment of “escapism” with Jon Stewart on Monday’s Full Frontal.

After an episode dedicated to denouncing Donald Trump’s White House staff, Bee shared warm wishes of peace and comfort for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, and closed her show with a video of Jon Stewart. In the clip, the former Daily Show host—who slammed the now President-elect several times during the election—soothes his feelings with a coloring book, a surprisingly popular adult pastime. “It’s over, I’m coloring a turkey and it’s over,” he sings as he pencils in one of the feathers. “I’ve really turned into a very odd person, with the little horses and the coloring,” he observes.
